It has been announced that Mckenna Grace will be joining the cast of the fourth season of Hulu’s flagship drama series “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

Grace will be featured in the recurring role of Mrs. Keyes, who is described as “a sharply intelligent, teenaged wife of a much older Commander who rules her farm and household with confidence.”

Her character is reported to have “a rebellious, subversive streak, and is calm and pious on the outside with turmoil, even insanity, on the inside,” according to the Deadline report.

Grace, who is famous for her role in the Netflix’s “The Haunting of Hill House,” also stars in the Sony’s upcoming “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.” Her other acting credits include the “Troop Zero,” “Annabelle Comes Home,” “Designated Survivor,” “Young Sheldon” and “Fuller House.”

Earlier this month, the series resumed filming in Toronto, Canada, after shutting down in mid-March, due to the global coronavirus outbreak. At that time, the crew had filmed just a few episodes into Season 4.

Elisabeth Moss, the star of the series, will also be making her directorial debut with the upcoming season of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which is one of eight Outstanding Drama Series contenders at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards, with 10 nominations.

Produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM, “The Handmaid’s Tale” stars Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, O-T Fagbenle, Amanda Brugel, Bradley Whitford, and Sam Jaeger.
