The Boys: 5 Fan Theories & Expectations That Could Happen In Season 2

With the premiere date of Season 2 nearing, the internet is bombarded with several fan theories. Here are some plausible theories that viewers could get to see in “The Boys” Season 2:

Just as Amazon Prime’s “The Boys” premiered, it kind of became everyone’s favorite for its unconventional storyline of a covert group trying to keep the super-powered people in check. This unusual superhero world, based on the comic book series by Grant Ennis, quickly garnered the attention of millions of viewers, leaving them excited for more.

In fact, even those comic fans were surprised by the out-of-the box plot that the show gave us. With the premiere date of Season 2 nearing, the internet is bombarded with several fan theories. Here are some plausible theories that viewers could get to see in “The Boys” Season 2:

Epic Showdown – The Boys Vs The Seven:

It pretty much seemed that both The Boys as well as The Seven had all their cards on the table, in the Season 1 finale. The momentum which has been building between both the groups have kind of reached an all new level, especially when The Seven had become aware that The Boys were behind the recent attempts to bring them down.

While the upcoming season is expected to pace itself, before the most awaited all-out war, there is no chance for the show to slow down the rivalry either, making it even more exciting. Season 1 has pretty much set the stage for it already, and Season 2 is surely going to be a celebration.

Redemption Arc for A-Train:

One of the best parts of the Season 1 Finale, was Hughie saving A-Train, even though A-Train was the one responsible for his girlfriend’s death, all be it, accidental. But, instead of just leaving him to die from the overdose of Compound V, Hughie saving him, was a turning point for A-Train, as he regrets doing those terrible things. It would be really interesting to see the change in the superhero, and it will not be surprising, if he decides to help Hughie for saving him.

Digging Vought Corporation:

While the show is all about the superheroes being evil, there is no way to forget the cause of everything – Vought Corporation, the company that has been experimenting on babies to create Heros with incredible abilities. We are certain that the company which handles all the superhero branding has a lot more skeleton in their closets.  There are also theories of the Vought Corporation having created another Homelander, which is not something entirely impossible. So, digging the affairs of the company could be a potential storyline for “The Boys” Season 2.

Deeper Storyline for The Deep:

One of the Seven members, who is expected to come back with a deeper change is The Deep, the King of Sea, a riff on Aquaman. “The Boys” Season 2 teaser has given a glimpse of an all new angrier Deep. OF course the existential crisis he was in, after being kicked of the team by the Seven, has brought about a great change in him. However, is the change good or bad for the Seven members, is yet to be seen.

Redemption of Queen Maeve:

A cynical alcoholic, who is no better than her teammates in the Seven, Queen Maeve was not an interesting character initially. But, as the season 1 progressed, she became one of the most incredible ones, as the fans got to know that there is more to her than that meets the eye. In fact, among all of the original members of the Seven, she is the one who struggles the most with the guilt of doing those horrible things, and has also wanted to change. Fans are hopeful that the upcoming season will feature Queen Maeve in a path to move away from the Seven, in redeeming herself.

“The Boys” Season 2 will premiere on September 4, 2020 on Amazon Prime. The series has also been renewed for the third season, earlier this year.

‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ Casting Prince Daemon

HBO’s “House of the Dragon,” the prequel to the most popular TV series “Game of Thrones,” is currently looking to cast Daemon Targaryen, famous as the Rogue Prince, as the lead character.

The upcoming prequel, set to premiere in 2022, is expected to deal with the Targaryen’s most turbulent period, with the destructive Dane of the Dragons event as the main storyline, which kind of tore the royal family apart.

Set around 300 years prior to the events of “Game of Thrones,” the show will be based on the George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood” novel that focuses on the Targaryen family history. Apart from “Fire & Blood,” the series will also take materials from “The Princess and the Queen” and “The Rogue Prince,” which also revolve around the Targaryens.

Prince Daemon Targaryen is one of the major characters as well as the pivotal character from “The Rogue Prince,” who is also listed as a series lead in the “House of the Dragon.”

The Targaryen Prince, who is the younger brother of King Viserys, is described as “less methodical and more imperious. Not to mention easily bored…Most of Daemon’s joy is found at sword-point. The most experienced warrior of his time. He vacillates between vile and heroic, making him the true rogue of the series,” in the HBO casting notice, as reported by The Illuminerdi.

As per the casting notice, the filming of the role of Prince Daemon is scheduled for some time between January and December 2021.

Earlier this year, a casting notice for the role of Rhaenyra was sent out by the network. Rhaenyra is the niece of Prince Daemon, who will marry her on his quest for the Iron Throne. Since July 2020, the casting of the series has relatively sped up.

5 Biggest Twists Ever From ‘The Walking Dead’ Series

From the moment Rick Grimes woke up all alone in a hospital bed, “The Walking Dead,” with its stunning visualizations and brutal gore scenes of bloody beheadings, walker attacks, has taken us through a real cruel world, where Zombie attacks are kind of secondary. The very strong characterizations in the series have led to the show surpassing even the comic books it is based on.

In the last decade of “The Walking Dead,” fans have always been hit with the most did-not-see-that-coming plot twists, including the death of most lovable characters. So, let’s get straight to the point, and here is the list of five biggest plot twists in the series, in our opinion.

Rick Is Alive

Just these words would be enough to bring out several emotions in a die-hard “The Walking Dead” fan, as fans literally went nuts, when the actor Andrew Lincoln confirmed that he was leaving the series. Of course, in the most logical departure way in “The Walking Dead” world would be his death. And man, what a heroic death it was.

Always the protector of the family, he bid his goodbyes in Season 9, by blowing up the bridge, he was too dedicated to building. But, it was certainly not the end of our beloved hero, as Jadis discovered a wounded Rick.

Hershel’s Death

While nothing the Governor does has surprised “The Walking Dead” fans, the death of Hershel, one of the most beloved characters of the show, was totally unexpected, as viewers thought somehow he will be saved in the nick of time. But, the moment Hershel’s head rolled to the ground, it was the most shocking twist ever in the series history.

It’s true that Hershel didn’t have much of a fan-following when the show started, what with his character being a wise man who preached morals, caution and hope. But still, with every season, fans grew to love him and his loss was devastating not to just the other characters but even the fans.

Sophia Walking Out Of The Barn

After being searched for ages, Sophia walking out of the barn as a snarling and snapping walker was totally an unimaginable thing, which kind of set an even higher standard for “The Walking Dead.” It was not just Carol who breaks apart, but every single character, who just killed walker upon walker without a second thought. The moment when Rick shoots her and Sophia falls down is certainly the most unforgettable heart-wrenching scene ever.

Glenn Being Alive

We are talking about Season 6 death of Glenn in such a lackluster fashion, under a cowardly Nicholas. Being one of the fan-favorite characters, fans were totally livid looking at all the blood and guts, thinking it to be Glenn’s. But, after a really painful month of missing him, it was revealed that he had managed to survive under a dumpster, a really spectacular twist that left viewers sighing in relief.

Still, Glenn’s fate was not that great, as he met his end at the hand of Negan at the beginning of Season 7, in the gruesome “The Walking Dead” kind of fashion, which left the audiences more upset. In fact, the brutal nature of his death even turned a lot of fans off from the show.

Lori Giving Birth

If there’s any show in the world that brings the best moments and twists with the gruesome death of beloved characters, it’s none other than “The Walking Dead” series. Lori’s death amidst a zombie prison riot, after giving birth to her daughter, Judith may be just another day in the world “The Walking Dead.” Still, Lori giving birth in a painful and agonizing labor, with Maggie performing a C-section, and Carl shooting Lori, his own mother, in order to prevent her from becoming a walker, is not something that anybody would have expected.

However, these totally out of the ordinary, unexpected plot twists, so gore and brutal, are what that makes “The Walking Dead” the greatest show. In fact, any die-hard fans have come to expect more bloodshed, and would not have it any other way.

Have we missed any major twist? Do let us

But still, he is the same Andy, with his best friends at his side. Here are some interesting facts about the Andy Samberg that will make you love him more:

  12. He performed the song “Dick In A Box” along with Justin Timberlake at one of Timberlake’s tour concerts in Madison Square Garden in February 7, 2007.
  13. In the movie “Hot Rod” the scene in which his character Rod Kimble asks Cathy (played by Britt Irvin) out, and then starts laughing hysterically was actually improvised on spot by Samberg.
  14. Even the scene when Rod and Cathy are on a bike ride to the date, Rod singing “Ohhh when you’re going on a date, and you put on a shirt! And you ride your bike to the daaaaate,” was said to be improvised by Andy.

James Corden ‘In-line’ To Replace Ellen DeGeneres?

It seems that “The Late Late Show” host James Corden will be the successor to Ellen DeGeneres, following the “toxic workplace” scandal related to her show.

According to the sources of The Sun, Corden is in line to replace Ellen, who was considered as the “long term successor” even before the scandal.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy is said to be a “huge fan of James” and reportedly has him “high on his wanted list for talent and a long term replacement for Ellen. This issue has fast tracked everything and made everyone look at the future today,” the insider said. “James Corden was being eyed for Ellen’s job in the long term before any of this came to light. Now this shocking new development places a spotlight on the next step.”

Earlier this week, former staffs of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” alleged that senior executives groped and kissed employees for years, to which the $50 million-a-year presenter reportedly turned a blind eye. There were also some issues reported on racism. An internal investigation has been launched by the show’s parent company WarnerMedia.

Over a dozen staff members were investigated by Buzzfeed News, in which one employee, explicitly pointed out the show’s head writer and executive producer Kevin Leman, solicited the staff for oral sex at a company part in the year 2013. Leman was also accused of groping and kissing employees, making sexually explicit comments and racist comments and actions.

One ex-employee was quoted as “He’d probably do it in front of 10 people and they’d laugh because ‘It’s just Kevin being Kevin,’ but if you’re in a position of power at a company, you don’t just get to touch me like that.”

Following the scandal, there have been several reports and rumors about the cancellation of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as well as Ellen quitting the series. It has also been reported that several staff at NBC claim that Ellen may not have renewed the show beyond that finish, which led to rumors that she will quit the series.

Doctor Who: Ten Best Episodes of Tenth Doctor – David Tennant

Fifteen years back, Christopher Eccleston re-introduced the famous “Doctor Who” series to the 21st century audience, making them fall in love with it, in just a few episodes. Till date, four actors have played the new incarnation, following him. But, his immediate successor David Tennant was the one who had to face so many challenges, since taking over the role from Eccleston only after just 13 episodes. The scenario was simple – “What? So soon? New Doctor? I am sure he will not be that good. Is this how the entire series will be?”

Did Tennant overcome these challenges? Well, in my opinion (which most people will agree) he did and he became the name of the series, with his successors having a very hard time to fill the Doctor’s shoes that he left behind. In fact, most of (my, if not for all) favorite episodes in the history of “Doctor Who” are from the 3 seasons played by David Tennant.

It’s been years since the Tenth Doctor, David Tennant, saved Wilfred Mott from a radiation chamber and triggered his own regeneration, and then we had the youngest Doctor in history, Matt Smiths, and then the spiky, ruthless and pragmatic Doctor, Peter Capaldi, and the current, first ever female Doctor, Jodie Whittaker. But still, Whovians miss the David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor a lot and will probably miss forever. So, here I am with a list of ten best episodes from the Tenth Doctor, for you re-watch during the ongoing COVID-19 related shutdown.

  1. “Blink” – Season 3 Episode 10

Easily this stands out to be the best ever episode during the Tenth Doctor era, or some might even argue as the best episode in the entire new “Doctor Who” series. It comes as no surprise, what with the best of the best monsters – the Weeping Angels’s inventions, that surely had the Whovians, not blinking.

Oddly, this episode doesn’t feature much of the Doctor, but still the impeccable performance from Carey Mulligan as Sally Sparrow, contending and defeating the Weeping Angels, which are horrifying statues that can only move when not being observed. Till date, any die-hard Whovian, would surely have this episode in their list of favorites.

  1. “Doomsday” – Season 2 Episode 13

Goodbyes are always heartbreaking, be it in “Doctor Who,” or any other TV series. And this, which marked the end of Rose Tyler’s (Billie Piper) time with the Tenth Doctor, is one of the most emotionally painful scenes ever in the franchise history. Relationships between the Doctor and the companions has always been amazing, but the connection the Tenth Doctor had with Rose Taylor was just another level, and that being unexpectedly ripped away, not affected the Doctor, but also the Whovians.

Tennant’s performance was extraordinary, which along with Piper’s heart-wrenching breakdown, made this episode one of the unforgettable in the “Doctor Who” history. Especially the scene, when the Doctor and Rose are touching the wall that “separates” them in two different universes, in the aftermath of battle between the Cybermen and Daleks, has forever seared itself in our minds.

  1. “The Girl in the Fireplace” – Season 2 Episode 4

Combination of historical period pieces with the futuristic space plots, colliding with the past, present and future. Sounds something like a typical “Doctor Who” episode, but what’s really special is that, the Doctor falls in love with the real-life French woman Madame de Pompadour (Sophia Myles), from the 18th-century, and shows up the protect her, for her entire life.

However, this episode isn’t about love, as this visit takes a different turn from the others, when it ends with the traffic note of Doctor entering Pompadour’s time stream seven years after her death. The look on David Tennant’s face, the moment the Doctor realized that Pompadour is really gone and he is too late, made me cry my eyes out. It’s only Tennant, who could make you feel everything that the Doctor feels.

  1. “Silence in the Library” & “Forest of the Dead” – Season 4 Episodes 8 & 9

If there’s any show that could kill of a character even before you know them, and then go on to develop the character arc and make you fall in love, it’s “Doctor Who.” And of course, the character that I am talking about is the most popular River Song, played by Alex Kingston. The first episode of this two-part story arc, introduces us to River (as well as the Doctor, for the first time), whose sensitive reaction to the Doctor, convinces us that their relationship is highly complex.

And before we know about the said complex relationship, in one of the most momentous moments in “Who” canon – River Song dies, who is later revealed to be the daughter of Amy and Rory Pond, two of Eleventh Doctor’s principal companions. But, as the show progresses and we get to see her character development, with not just the Tenth Doctor but also his successors, this rare moment of her death becomes even more traumatizing, making the episode extremely re-watchable.

  1. “Midnight” Season 4 Episode 10

Dubbed as one of the “Companion-lite” episodes, which just means the Doctor carries the episode by himself, without the companion, this is one of the best Russell T Davies’s episodes, bringing in a brand new group of characters, who the Whovians will never see again, but still care for them, as the Doctor cares for them.

Tennant’s flawless acting skills made sure the episode stands out by selling the unseen threat, relying heavily on sound. He also managed to bring out a side of the Doctor that Whovians had never seen before, while simultaneously balancing the mission to save the universe and getting the crew members to trust him and calm down. To put it simply, “Midnight” is one great vacation of Tennant’s Tenth Doctor that turned for the worst with a literal unseen danger.

  1. “The Christmas Invasion” Christmas Special – 2005

It would not do any justice, if we do not mention the first full episode of David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor of the franchise. This 2005 Christmas Special till date remains my favorite, which is an entirely thrilling episode packed with many firsts of the franchise (and also because it’s the time Tennant’s time on “Doctor Who” started.)

The entire episode revolves around Rose Tyler leading the defense against the invasion of a new alien species known as Sycorax, while The Doctor spending most of the Christmas Special regenerating. But, the moment Tennant’s Tenth Doctor opens the TARDIS and asks with a knowing smile “Did you miss me?” was of course one for a great applaud. Not to forget his dealing with the Prime Minister Harriet Jones – “Don’t challenge me, Harriet Jones because I am a completely new man. I could bring down your government with a single word,” Tennant absolutely stole the show, distinguishing the Tenth Doctor from all the others.

  1. “School Reunion” – Season 2 Episode 3

One of the qualities of “Doctor Who” that makes the series standout is how the fans of the original series are now watching it with their kids and make them the fans too. And this episode is especially for those parents, as it brought back the most beloved companion from the original “Doctor Who” in the 70s – Elizabeth Sladen’s Sarah Jane Smith.

The way Rose Taylor and Sarah Jane bond over how inept the Doctor can be, was something really incredible to watch. Rose realizing that she is not the only companion in Doctor’s life, and the jarring reminder that although Doctor is not human, he still feels pain and love and loss. And at the end of the day, when companions come and go, it’s always the Doctor who suffers the most loss, that too over and over again. Tennant’s portrayal of the Doctor’s internal devastation, but the quick flip back to happy-go-lucky Time Lord, was one of the strongest performances ever.

  1. “The Stolen Earth” & “Journey’s End” Season 4 Episodes 12 & 13

Regenerations are pretty much a very common event when it comes to “Doctor Who.” But, the Doctor regenerating into the same incarnation was something very special. While Season 4 was the last season for Tennant’s Tenth Doctor, and the “Journey’s End” was the finale episode, he did not regenerate into Matt Smith, which happened nearly a year later in “The End of Time.”

The Doctor and Donna are battling the Daleks, one of the most iconic enemies in the Whoniverse, in “The Stolen Earth,” a crossover episode between “Doctor Who” and the spinoffs “Torchwood” and “The Sarah Jane Adventures.” The tragic end of Donna in the second episode of the two-part arc, is one of the most disturbing companion departures in the history of the franchise, as her memory of the Doctor must be removed. The raw emotion of the Doctor’s pain and loneliness after this incident was excellently conveyed by Tennant, leaving the Whovians speechless.

  1. “Human Nature” & “The Family of Blood” Season 3 Episodes 8 & 9

This two-part arc really changed things up for true Whovians, who did not know which part of the Doctor to root for, the semi-immortal Doctor or the human Doctor. And Tennant’s ability to go and forth between both the characters was just astounding. But the most memorable scene from these two episodes is when the Doctor as a human must choose to become the Doctor again, killing himself, and leaving the love of his life behind.

In my opinion, it’s Martha (Freema Agyeman) who was the hero of these two episodes, as the Time Lord had his full trust on her, before becoming a human – John Smith, a teacher in the 1913, who has no memory of his life as the Doctor. Her words, “He’s just everything to me, and he doesn’t even look at me, but I don’t care, because I love him to bits,” makes you feel how devastated she really was.

  1. “The Day of the Doctor” – 50th Anniversary Special

Although this is not a Tennant adventure from his “Doctor Who” period, “The Day of the Doctor” was one extraordinary episode featuring not just our beloved David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor, but Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor, and legendary turn from John Hurt as the “War Doctor.”

Aired as the special episode celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Doctor Who,” “The Day of the Doctor” brought in the Doctors of the past and present, on the last day of the Time War with a game-changing plot. The very first meeting of the two fan-favorite Doctors – Tennant and Smith will always go down in the “Doctor Who” history as one of the most memorable episodes.

Some of these episodes were remarkable just with the performance from David Tennant, while some episodes, with very less time of Tennant, stood the test of time to become a favorite. No matter what the case is, David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor is arguably the best, marking a high point in the show’s history, which is yet to be matched.

Is there any other episode that you think should be in this list? If so, please let us know in the comments, like a true Whovian, who would surely speak his mind out.

Best Grey’s Anatomy Episodes From Every Season – Part 1 (Season 1 – 5)

Grey’s Anatomy, in its 16-season run, has taken us through many things from plane crashes to shootings to storms, to roller coaster disasters, and not to forget the fascinating passion between the residents and heart-wrenching break-ups. The audience has spent more than a decade-and-a-half immersed in this workplace drama filled with medical mysteries and the most horrifying disasters one could ever imagine.

Since the very first episode “A Hard Day’s Night” that had the perfect mix of character introductions, fund and entertainment, along with a passionate one-night-stand for Meredith Grey, and the budding friendship between the Seattle Grace Mercy West/Grey Sloan Memorial, the show has never ceased to amaze the audience, making it one of the favorites.

The last season had to end abruptly due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with fans getting a finale, which was just another normal episode. And since, it’s not clear as to when the production will began for the next season, let’s take a look at some of the best episodes that stood out in each and every season till date, which will be apt for binge-watching. However, if you are die-hard “Grey’s Anatomy” fan, you may not be able to stop with just a few.

“Who’s Zooming Who?” (Season 1, Episode 9)

With Season 1, the show was still finding its bearings, improving character’s likability and their separate story arc. But still, there are a number of episodes from the particular season which fans may never forget. Obviously, the pilot episode of “A Hard Day’s Night” is one among them, with “Shake Your Groove Thing,” also in the list. But, the most important episode with a totally unexpected twist that kind of changed the show’s main storyline was the Episode 9 – “Who’s Zooming Who?” Especially the epic moment when Addison Shepherd showed up and delivered the one-line “And you must be the woman who’s been screwing my husband?” to Meredith, is definitely one that fans will never forget.

“It’s the End of the World” & “As We Know It” (Season 2, Episode 16 & 17)

Grey’s Anatomy, right from the start, created its own style and way of shaping the medical drama. One such is the two-part or three-part story arcs. The Episode 16 & 17 of the Season 2, dealt with the famous bomb in the body cavity story, featuring the legendary guest star Kyle Chandler. It was one of the show’s first truly shocking and tense events, in which we see Meredith’s hand inside the chest of the patient, being the only thing stopping the bomb from exploding. The episode was in the special “Grey’s Anatomy” way exciting yet nerve-wracking.

Apart from these two, the season 2 also has some more memorable episodes like the Episode 5 “Bring the Pain,” in which Meredith utters the now infamous line “Pick me. Choose me. Love me,” to Derek.

Season 3’s Great Ferry Boat Accident – “Walk on Water” & “Drowning on Dry Land” & “Some Kind of Miracle” (Episode 15 & 16 & 17)

Dealing with disasters and accidents is one of the trademark’s of “Grey’s anatomy” and this three-episode arc is all about a ferry boat accident that had a influx of patients at the hospital. As if that was not enough, Meredith nearly drowns before being saved by none-other than Derek, and recovers from her almost dead state of hypothermia in these three episodes. Let’s just say, these three episodes had the fans counting down minutes before each episode was aired.

“Freedom: Part 2” (Season 4 Episode 17)

A case of boy encased in cement is enough to make the episode compelling, but add in every relationship milestones to the plot, from Callie and Erica sharing a kiss, Chief Webber getting back to his wife Adele, and the leads Derek and Meredith deciding on rekindling their romance. In simple words, this episode was just great and amazing on many levels.

“Elevator Love Letter” (Season 5, Episode 19)

Talk about trend setting, and this episode is one of the best in all time history of TV series. Getting married via Post-it note, sounded stranger, but was one of the most lovable scenes from “Grey’s Anatomy,” that has left the audience in awe for years. Not to forget the proposal of the decade with the CT scans’ of their patients, was totally out of the box, but still welcomed by the die-hard fans. Owen’s PTSD leading to a near death experience of Cristina, leading to their breakup, brings about another feeling of sadness.

The season also has another remarkable episode “Now or Never” which was the season’s finale that had George O’Malley killed, marking the end of one iteration, as the next season had new characters coming in, with new stories to be told.

The 100 Boss: ‘Anaconda’ To Have Long-Awaited Answers; Check Out ET’s Exclusive Preview of Prequel

With Wednesday’s episode, “The 100” will be back to the beginning of everything – to the Earth’s very first nuclear apocalypse in 2052, and answer some most important questions.

“Anaconda,” which will be the backdoor pilot for a new prequel series potentially titled “The 100: Second Dawn,” will give a clear clarity to the audience on many things, including the character of Bill Cadogan, the mysterious “Shepherd” of the Disciples.

“Something I really wanted to do this season was to connect a lot of the dots, or fill in the blanks, whichever metaphor you want to use,” showrunner Jason Rothenberg told TVLine. “We wanted to answer a lot of questions, including why the bunker was empty when they opened it in Season 4. I made a promise to John Pyper-Ferguson back in Season 4 that he was going to be involved with the show for more than that one episode. And I finally made that promise come true… three years later.”

The next episode will see the introduction of Callie, portrayed by British actress Iola Evans, as well as her brother Reese, played by Adain Bradley. At the end of last week’s episode, fans witnessed Clarke, Raven, Miller, Jordan and Niylah, reaching Bardo, with guns ready for saving lives. Anders awoke Bill Cadogan from cryosleep and confronts him.

ET Online has published an exclusive sneak peek from the prequel in which Bill can be seen explaining about the last two symbols left out for him to accomplish his dream.

Talking about the potential prequel, Rothenberg told ET “It’s in The 100’s universe, so people can expect a lot of creative DNA that’s similar. Of course, you don’t have to know anything about the original show to go for the new ride, because it comes before the original show.”

“I don’t want to say it’s got a lighter heart than the original show, but the protagonist’s journey is quite different from Clarke… It’s quite a cultural moment in the sense of we’re all living in a time where we’re sheltered in place, hoping that someone comes up with a cure and we can get back to our lives,” he added. “This is a story about a woman who has what could be considered a cure to the radiation that is keeping them all in underground bunkers, and is looking for people to save. Of course, she’s going to run into people who are not going to play ball with her, but ultimately she’s got a very altruistic agenda.”
