Daniel Craig’s ‘No Time To Die’ To Hit The Theaters Even Earlier!

The 25th installment in the James Bond franchise – “No Time to Die,” starring Daniel Craig will be released in the United Kingdom on November 12, 2020 and in the United States on November 20, 2020.

The announcement of the release dates were shared by the official James Bond account in a tweet that read “The return of old friends in NO TIME TO DIE. In cinemas 12th November UK, 20th November US.”

The movie, which will be the fifth and final in the franchise to have Daniel Craig as James Bond, was all set to be released on April 3, 2020 in the UK and April 8, 2020 in the US. However, the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak forced the producers to postpone the release.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie will hit the cinemas on November 25, 2020, possibly aiming at the Thanksgiving box office. Not to forget, this Cary Joji Fukunaga directed James Bond movie was initially planned for November 2019 release.

In fact, ever since the “Golden Eye” which opened in November 1995, every movie in the franchise was scheduled to open in November or December. The last 007 movie that was released in the summer was the 1989 “License to Kill.” But, now the decision to move the release date even earlier to November 20, 2020 might cost the upcoming movie a box office record, as reported by Forbes.com.

“No Time to Die” set five years from the events of the “Spectre,” will be a kind of rediscovering of James Bond, a retired 007, enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica. The film stars Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright and Christoph Waltz.

This decision comes right after Warner Bros announced the release dates of their much –awaited movies “Tenet” – July 31, 2020 and “Wonder Woman 1984” – October 2, 2020. Their “Godzilla vs. Kong,” which was scheduled for November 20, 2020 release, will see a six months delay.
